Objective:

To acquire the necessary knowledge to apply electrical and electronic circuits for controlling the start, speed, and torque of electric machines. Participants will learn to locate faults or anomalies in sensors, preactuators, and control electronics, as well as perform continuity and insulation measurements in sensor and preactuator lines.

Course Outline:

  • Three-phase alternating current motors
  • Application of sensors in industrial electrical circuits
  • Detection of physical or chemical magnitudes
  • Starting and braking methods
  • Basic principles of electric machine control
  • Electrical and electronic circuits for start control

Duration: This course is 16 hours long.
